"Beauty Torn" art exhibition by Adam

Montreal street artist known simply as "Adam" will open his new solo show at the L.I.C.K. Gallery on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 7pm to 9pm. Adam's work has been spotted through-out Canada, Mexico City and New York City. Adam draws his inspiration from Canadian wildlife. Many of his paintings, prints and sculptures anthropomorphizes deer, wolves, ducks or bears. Below are some examples of his work. Come to the opening reception on September 3 to view his latest work. Retail Spot Construction Part 1

The retail location is just about ready to open it's doors. Here are some photos of the progress on the shop. When we signed the lease the shop looked like this. Ugly slot-paneling on every wall and cheap blue tiles on the floor. There was also a crudely built room in the front of the shop which made it impossible to even open the door up all the way. We had to start somewhere right. So the paneling came down as well as the walls. Then a new wall was put up. Wood flooring being put in.
